Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Seth Ueleke, Dr. Jenny Artman, and Dr. Ann Yowell, who are licensed and experienced Concord veterinarians.

Animal Care Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary medicine and surgery and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Ueleke

Dr. Seth Ueleke

Dr. Seth Ueleke became the owner of Animal Care Clinic in the Spring of 2022. He joined Animal Care Clinic in 2016. He is originally from central Illinois, where he grew up and attended college and vet school. He practiced in southeast Michigan for 6 years following graduation, then relocated to Concord in 2007. He enjoys the intriguing and challenging aspects of small animal surgery as well as building long-term relationships with clients and their furry family members. He has a lovely wife, 3 dogs named Mario, Enzo, and Bristol, and 3 cats named Babbs, AJ, and Fergy. Dr. Ueleke enjoys amateur woodworking, Jimmy Buffett concerts, traveling to warm destinations, is an avid race fan (especially dirt late models) and football (How ‘Bout Them Cowboys??!!)

Dr. Jenny Artman

Dr. Jenny Artman

Dr. Artman joined the ACC family after practicing in Cabarrus County for 23 years. She attended Davidson College for undergrad studies and then graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Special interests include behavioral issues, the human-animal bond, and internal medicine cases. Dr. Artman enjoys outside activities and fitness, and she has completed multiple triathlons, long distance running and cycling events. She also enjoys music festivals (especially Bluegrass or Americana) and watching sports, especially college basketball (Go Wildcats!) and pro football (proud member of The Steeler Nation). She shares her home with 5 rescue pets: 1 Border Collie mix, Jackie, and her herd of crazy kittens (and 1 rescue human – Donnie). The favorite part of her job is meeting clients and really getting to know their furry family members.

Meet The Team

Julie

Practice Manager

Julie started working at Animal Care Clinic in May, 2022 when she and Dr. Ueleke bought the practice.

Julie is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and is still a die hard Cubs fan, even after living in NC since 2007.

Her hobbies are similar to Dr. Ueleke’s, as far as Jimmy Buffett concerts and cruising to places in the Caribbean. She also enjoys taking long walks on the beach looking for shells, hand crafting cards and making jewelry. In her spare time (ha ha), she enjoys being entertained by their 3 dogs and 3 cats.

Office Manager

Andrea became part of the AC family in the Spring of 2020 as a Receptionist and stepped into the role of Office Manager in 2023. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets and reading and creating art (some of which you will find displayed in the office). What Andrea loves most about her job is getting to know our wonderful clients and their pets – especially the giant breeds and pitties that hold a special place in her heart.

Melinda

Vet Assistant

Melinda, lead technician, has been employed at Animal Care Clinic since 2000.

It is her passion to provide quality care for our patients, while helping our clients better understand how to keep their pets healthy and happy.

In her spare time she enjoys sports with her children and classic cars.

Melinda is owned by her two cats, Logan and Kyo.

Vickey

Part-Time Office Administrator

Vickey started working at Animal Care Clinic in July 2015 as a customer service representative. In January 2019, she was promoted to Office Manager. In January 2023, she retired from her position and now works part time (1 day a week) as an Office Administrator.

Being semi-retired has given her more time to spend with her two dogs Coco and Jubal, her husband Mac, and spend time gardening and watching old movies.

Ashley R.

Kennel Attendant

Ashley R. has been a part of the ACC team since 2021.

Currently a Senior at A.L. Brown, with future studies in Biology.

When she’s not here caring for our four legged friends, you can find her on the tennis courts, or reading her favorite books.

She absolutely loves giving each pet individual attention and care during their stay.

Nikki

Vet Assistant

Nikki started working at ACC in September, 2022, and she has worked in the vet field since 2014 while living in Texas. When she’s not at work, Nikki enjoys taking her 3 dogs on hiking and lake trips and reading. Her whole life revolves around her dogs, which is why she loves this field so much. Nikki’s favorite part of her work day is spending time with patients and making their lives the best they can be.

Tammy

Kennel Attendant

Tammy has worked for ACC since September, 2022 as a kennel assistant. Her hobbies are domesticating feral kittens and getting adult feral cats trapped, neutered and returned. She has 5 cats and her favorite part of her job is hanging out with dogs, since she doesn’t own one herself.

Anna

Veterinary Assistant

Anna recently started at Animal Care Clinic and has been in the field for almost 7 years. She has a 12 year old daughter, 3 dogs, 4 cats and a wonderful chinchilla. Anna’s hobbies include reading, anime, video games, painting, crochet, and making home decor. Her favorite part of the job is when a sick pet gets to go home healthy.

Amanda

Receptionist

Amanda is new to ACC, but has worked in the field for 3 years. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her dogs. She has 3 dogs named Higgins, Ramona and Mudd. Her favorite things about working at ACC are being able to help pet parents and their animals, as well as meeting new puppies.

Kelly

Receptionist

Kelly has been in the vet field since 2019. When not working, you will find her with a book in hand (she loves fantasy mostly). She is a rabid hockey fan–Go Canes! She is loved by a special dog, Reese. She loves meeting new clients and creating relationships with them and their pets.

Kristen

Registered Veterinary Assistant (RVT)

Kristen recently started at ACC and has been in the field since 2014. She graduated from Central Carolina in 2015 as a RVT. She loves spending time with her husband and two children. Kristen enjoys being on the lake fishing, hunting, and crafting. Her favorite part obout her job is working as a team to provide excellent care to the pets.

Amber

Receptionist

Amber joined ACC in 2025 and loves reading (thrillers), watching old movies, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She also loves traveling with her daughter’s competition dance team. The favorite part of her job is meeting all of our clients and working with our caring team.

Kamber

Veterinary Assistant

Kamber began working at Animal Care Clinic in 2025. Her hobbies include hiking and crochet. She currently has five animals: two cats, one dog, one bunny and one hermit crab. Her favorite part of her job is helping not only the pet patients but also the pet parents have a peace of mind in the care their fur babies receive. Comfort and compassion come first.

Tina

Veterinary Assistant

Tina is new to ACC, but has a year and a half of experience in veterinary medicine and a natural compassion for the animals she takes care of. Guided by intuition and heart, she believes every pet deserves to be understood as well as healed. Outside of work, Tina enjoys painting, tending to her plants, taking family trips with her daughter and husband – “Adventure awaits!” – and spending time outdoors reading under a shaded tree or with her cat, Doodie Boy.

Brandi

Kennel Attendant

Brandi is new to ACC starting in 2025, but has been in the veterinary field since 2018. She currently has two dogs, two cats, one snake, a community fish tank, and often fosters dogs for the animal rescue she also works for. In her free time she enjoys reading, video games and graphic design. Brandi’s favorite part of her job is getting to care for so many new animals and build relationships with them.
